Open Garden House

EB Architecture undertook the renovation and extension of a three-storey apartment located in the Camden area, within a conservation area. The project included alteration of the existing rear extension and a first-floor rear extension, alongside a complete refurbishment and reorganisation of the internal layouts to create a contemporary and functional family home.

The design responds to the client’s vision for a practical and welcoming living environment. The main living spaces comprise an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area that opens directly onto the generous rear garden, creating a strong connection between the internal and external spaces.

The first floor is dedicated to two bedrooms and flexible entertainment areas, carefully arranged to make the best use of the available space.

The interiors were carefully redesigned with particular attention to materials, detailing and functionality, creating a comfortable and cohesive in every corner. The completed project brings together contemporary design, practical spatial planning and carefully considered detailing within the sensitive context of the conservation area.
